Made for a show at the German Culture Center in Tokyo in 2002 during a 6-month

work stay in Japan, this sculpture is still my pièce de résistance. Some years after

the show, the former chief curator of the National Museum for Contemporary Art

in Seoul told me: “When I saw the pictures of this work, it touched me in the deepest

part of my Asian soul.“
