Humility also characterizes Albert Hettinger´s work. Respect for the attained

form which nature has shaped. The natural rough shape of the stone remains

visible. The polishing follows the stage directions of nature. The artistic

intervention is deliberately restrained. Albert Hettinger wants to entice our

hands to investigate the material. His "Journey with the Whale" in the sculpture

garden issues an explicit invitation to lie down upon it. Human being and
material are united for a moment.

Creation comes to the fore here. A grand theme is staged discreetly.
